Treating acid reflux or GERD with Apple Cider Vinegar

You should definitely give Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) a try if you suffer from acidity. A combination of ACV and baking soda is also recommended for better results.

A 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda is the safest possible mixture assuming 2 tablespoon of ACV in 250 mg water.

Take this formula 2 - 3 three times a day on an empty stomach.
Take it for 5 days, then stop for 2 days.

I recommend Bragg's Organic Apple Cider Vinegar which is available at any Whole Foods store in the US.

Also avoid eating anything 1 hour before you go to bed.

Plausibe cause of Flat-footedness

A lot of kids this generation seem to develop a flatfoot or Pes Planus. One plausible cause seems to be the walker used in child-hood. By not placing the foot straight on the ground, this possibly introduces pressure at inappropriate places.

Food Allergies and Chronic symptoms

If you are suffering from some chronic symptom or a problem that your doctor has not been able to diagnose for a long time, don't despair. It is possible that you are allergic to some common food and don't even suspect it.

Most of the time, skin tests do not show what you are allergic to. Either the testing samples are polluted or the sample is too small to cause a reaction or its just that the skin may not be allergic to this substance or the skin reaction itself may take a long time or a larger dose to expose the allergy.

Allergies are typically caused by some protein entering the blood-stream without being digested properly.

Try eliminating the following foods one at a time from your diet for a 3-4 day period.
  • Wheat, Rye, Barley, Almonds (The protein Gluten)

  • Milk

  • Tomato

Stress often enhances the possibility of an allergic reaction.

Migraine Headaches

If you suffer from Migraine headache and have not found any relief so far, try a 100mg capsule of Coenzyme Q10 (CQ10). Recent research shows that this enzyme helps the functioning of the mitochondria which helps with extracting energy from food.

Common medical Frauds

If your doctor suggests any of the following procedures, make sure you get a second opinion from someone who knows that he will not be making any money out of you. These are common procedures that are hard to dispute and meant to milk the insurance you have.

  1. Sinus operation
  2. Wisdom tooth removal
  3. Knee operation
  4. Gal stone operation
  5. Appendectomy: Removal of the Appendix
  6. Tonsil removal

Knee problems

Running is not necessarily beneficial for all ages. In fact it can cause tremendous damage to your knees. Instead try jumping on a trampoline. This has the same effect of the organs as running by making them stronger.

Kidney Stones

10 drops of the Homeopathic medicine Berberis Vulgaris in a glass of water dissolves any kidney stone painlessly in days.

Testing Saliva pH level to Diagnose Disease

Some naturopaths and biologic dentists have been advocating testing the saliva in a patient's mouth for ph value to diagnose disease. They believe that determining whether the saliva is acidic or alkaline can assist in determining a person's overall wellness as well as their dental health.

According to these practitioners, a saliva ph of 7.0 usually indicates a healthy dental condition. A saliva ph below 7.0 usually indicates that there is too much acidity in the blood. This condition can foster dental decay and peritonitis, as well as being an indicator of other diseases in the body such as cancer. Excess acidity in the mouth can be attributed to nutritional, dietary, and lifestyle factors. Environmental toxins, a diet that is high in red meat, refined sugar, and processed foods can all contribute to the condition. To balance your body's ph balance, they recommend drinking lots of water, reducing the amounts of acidic foods in your diet, and taking digestive enzymes. Some alkalizing foods include grapefruit, watermelon, strawberries, carrots, and raw spinach. Minerals such as calcium, potassium, magnesium are also important. Testing kits for monitoring at home are relatively inexpensive and can be found on the Internet. There are some kits that test both saliva and urine that are considerably more expensive though. You can also find a naturopath or biologic dentist who performs the test in your area.
